	CoStar Buys Loopnet!  Does Loopnet Own Part of Xceligent?   Strange but true are the latest issues the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the St. Louis CIE are wading into. We continue to operate as normal and bring the highest quality data and strive to improve the offerings to our membership. Our goal is to offer a competitive and accurate commercial real estate research system. We continue to plan and plan for the future as well as lead in the face of a consolidating market place.   Economics may have you focused on making deals work, but we can not take our eyes off the works of our dealings.  We must continue to promote each other and our importance to the community we serve, we can not stop serving one another.  An important way we serve one another is to be involved with the Boards that govern or support our industry.  Participation is our responsibility to each other.  The CIE Board is approaching an election/re-election of leaders willing to serve their fellow professional.  I ask you to consider that your time and talent could help all involved in St. Louis Commercial Real Estate market. Notice of the Election will be sent to you prior to Thursday, July 14th. There are three (3) seats available for the 2011 Election. Watch your email! Get Involved! REALTORÒ DIRECTOR: Two to be elected for a three-year term, with said terms beginning on November 1, 2011. No Director may serve more than two consecutive terms. Tuesday, August 23^rd, BALLOT AVAILABLE ON-LINE TO PARTICIPANTS by Commercial Information Exchange office, listing all candidates' biographies, (listed alphabetically). Monday, September 12^th,ELECTION DAY Ballots must be completed online by 12:00 p.m. (noon) in order to be counted for the 2011 Election of Directors. Classes are held from 9:00 am - 11:30 am, at the CIE office. Registration is required as we are limited to the number of computers available. Three dynamic classes are available: Basic: Searching Techniques, Selecting and Using the Various Reports, CDX Mail. Emphasis on Searching. Advanced: Searching Techniques, Selecting and Using the Various Reports, Setting up User Preferences, CDX Mail. Emphasis on Agent/Client Tools. Administrators: Searching Techniques, How to Add, Edit and Maintain Company Listings. Selecting and Using the Various Reports, CDX Mail, Email Listings, Uploading Photos and Flyers. CHANGING YOUR QUICK PRINT BUTTONS The CDX Quick Print buttons allow you to easily and quickly print your result set into one of your 3 favorite report formats.  Follow the steps below to change which reports appear for your 3 Quick Print buttons:  From your CDX home page, select the My Preferences link under the Settings and Profile section.  When the My Preferences window pops up, scroll to the bottom From the Available Reports section, click on the report names you wish to have as one of your 3 Quick Print buttons and select "Add" From the Selected Reports section, click on the report names you no longer want and select "Remove".  You can now order your 3 reports by using the Up and Down buttons.  Once done click on "Save" The next time you login, your 3 new Quick Print buttons will appear on your search results screen.  ABOUT CIE CIE is the St. Louis Metro provider of property and listing information for the commercial real estate industry.
